Indian block print fabric is a traditional textile created by stamping hand-carved wooden blocks onto cloth. Artisans dip these blocks into natural dyes and repeatedly stamp the fabric by hand to build intricate, layered patterns. This creates a unique, artisanal look defined by subtle variations and organic charm. Because it is entirely produced by human hands rather than machines, no two yards are exactly alike. Slight overlaps and minor color bleeding are considered hallmarks of authenticity, not flaws.
